This is the last week of summer, and unfortunately I'm spending a lot of it trying to figure out what the heck is going to happen to me when classes start on Monday. My email inbox hasn't been this happy in 3 months-- it's always full! The one thing that makes me nervous is it seems that every email or syllabus contains, in some way, the phrase,
"Now that you're in the professional phase..."
And that is, of course, followed by a clause that is loaded with a high expectation. Are these threats? I'm not sure if I feel motivated or scared out of my mind.
Like I told my dad, I'm glad I got senioritis out of the way my junior year.
